Every link you create on Butterlink comes with a private stats page — protected by a secret access token. No account required.
Click Count
See exactly how many times your link has been clicked. Stats reflect the current count each time you open the page.
Access Token Protected
Your stats are private. Only someone with your secret token can view them — not even we can see who owns which link.
Auto Cleanup
Links and their stats are automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity or 2 years — keeping things tidy and GDPR compliant.
Delete Anytime
You can delete your link and all associated data directly from the stats page at any time.
What we don't track
No IP addresses stored beyond 24 hours (used only for rate limiting, then deleted).
No browser fingerprinting or device identification.
No geographic location data.
No referrer tracking — we count clicks, nothing more.
